Chic Middle Georgia Weddings on a Budget
Mood:  energetic

Okay, here is my blog to help out those moms and dads, and brides and grooms who are planning their weddings but are on a strict budget.  I learned the hard way, when my daughter decided to get married and 1) gave me 6 months to plan a great event and 2) was living in Florida while I was scheduling a wedding in Georgia.

We will look at many budgets and many ways to save money, but our budget will never exceed $10,000.

First and foremost brides - DON'T BE BRIDEZILLA! Things will go wrong, you may not get exactly what you want, but the important thing to remember is that it is not the day but the marriage that is important.  The whole day should be one of happiness and celebration, not micro managing until you can't see straight.

So this is the first blog of many. I am going to be limiting myself to Georgia as far as locations are concerned, but many of the ideas and web vendors can be used by anyone.

The first step is to decide on the date that you want to get married. Determine the season that you can see yourself walking down the aisle. From there, look at the dates and determine the best one for you and those who are helping you with the wedding.  Once the date is picked you need to determine how informal or formal that you want this ceremony to be.

Most women have imagined themselves in the gown of their dreams walking down a flower strewn aisle, but the reality of the situation may be different. That image in your head, though, is a great way to determine if you want a formal religious ceremony and sit down dinner reception or a casual outdoor ceremony and barbecue. Either way, you can accomplish this on a budget!
